Perkins and Deeb risked $1,000,000 to become in shape.

Perkins and Deeb staked $1,000,000 on their weight loss.

Bill Perkins has offered Shaun Deeb $700,000 to reduce his body fat percentage by 17% in 14 months in time for the 2024 World Series.

Perkins y Deeb apuestan US$1 millón para perder peso

It would seem that off-table betting is a popular pastime among High Stakes players, with the most recent being Bill Perkins and Shaun Deeb.

If one of the participants in this bizarre prop wager loses enough weight before the World Series of Poker (WSOP) begins, he or she may earn as much as $1 million.

People look up to Perkins because he always has a smile on his face and encourages them to be better, whether it is in poker or in life. To kick off the challenge—which requires him to reduce his body fat percentage by a certain amount over the course of 14 months—he posted a video of his friend Deeb playing and eating.

We rose to the challenge, but only after making a few adjustments to our original idea. By the time of the 2019 WSOP, Deeb will need to have lost 17% of his body fat. The challenge will end in May 2024, since the World Series of Poker is rapidly approaching and organizers don’t want to take away focus from the tables.

As a result of his victory in the PokerGo Tour Mixed Games, Shaun now has six bracelets from the World Series of Poker to add to the five he previously had. His cumulative victories from live tournaments amount to almost $11 million.

But, if he loses this wager, he must pay Bill Perkins $100,000 USD. After the first wager of US$50,000 at odds of 20 to 1, it was decided to raise the ante to $100,000.

I see your point, @shaundeeb. Twenty to one in a year and a half is a 10% BF loss. I have $1,000,000 to your $50,000. I know you’ve been setting me up for this challenge, yet I still can’t help but accept it. https://t.co/qEbBQ68ddO

March 28, 2023 – Guy Bill Perkins (@bp22)

“I get your point, @shaundeeb. 20 to 1 in a year and a half; 10% LM. We’ll pit your 50,000 against my 1,000,000. You’ve been training for this test, and I see right through your ruse….”
